Nathan Keyfitz Book Prize

The Awards committee unanimously agreed to award this year's Nathan Keyfitz Book Prize to Alan B. Simmons' Immigration and Canada: Global and Transnational Perspectives (Canadian Scholars' Press). This book provides readers with an overview of the field of international migration studies with a particular emphasis on Canadian immigration policies and social, economic, and cultural impacts.

The prize committee was composed of Eric Fong (Chair, University of Toronto), Zheng Wu (University of Victora), Barry Edmonston (University of Victoria), and Rozzet Jurdi (University of Regina).
